Effective Tuesday, March 17, 2020 Lyster Army Health Clinic (LAHC) will implement external screenings as a precautionary measure to safely screen LAHC beneficiaries for COVID-19. LAHC personnel are taking proactive steps to mitigate the spread and impact of the virus. There are currently no Fort Rucker personnel with COVID-19. Persons should expect a series of questions and a temperature check prior to entering the facility.

Everyone can help prevent the spread of #COVID19. Practice healthy habits. Take everyday actions to prevent the spread of germs. Wash your hands often for at least 20 seconds with soap & water. Use hand sanitizer when soap & water are unavailable. Cover your cough/sneeze with a tissue, then throw it in the trash; cough/sneeze into your elbow if tissues are unavailable. Create an emergency preparedness kit. Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth. Stay home if you are sick and avoid close contact with Family members and pets. Ensure all immunizations are up to date, including your seasonal flu shot. Avoid close contact with people that are sick.
